Hmmm September 30, 2007 Kp Cowie (Pembrokeshire, Wales) 33 out of 40 found this review helpful
I got this iPod on the 28th of September and for the first day it was brilliant, but since then, I have had a couple problems. I find the scroll wheel to be too sensitive, and it just flaps about everywhere, and this does not allow me to appropriately select the songs i want, also i have trouble with the headphones already, when i put them in i get a distorted sound, which is only fixed by replugging them in. Finally, I was quite disapointed by the video mode, it will only let you play vodeps purchased from apple, unless you find a way to meet all the specifics (I have tried this and failed) I really would have liked to have praised this ipod, and this being my first ipod, i am quite disappointed by it, and i am considering returning it in the next few days, unless the problems sort themselves out.

When they announced the new nano all I could think when I looked at the pictures of it was, uh oh, that looks fat! But in reality once you see it in person you realise that the pics don't do this device any justice. Simple to use, packed full of features and ust under a 100, get one now!
Very good Apple Ipod September 13, 2007 Mark (Newcastle, England) 50 out of 55 found this review helpful
Read Mr Pickles review at the bottom, and nope, totally disagree with him! The Apple Ipod Nano is deffo not a let down. It feels good, its small, bigger screen, thin, and its a very good price for a 4Gb device. Video playback is good, the hours for a 4Gb you get is quite good, you can store photos, there are games on it that are very good and obviously you can store music and the sound is beautiful and smooth, not a problem with it. Itunes is good and is easy to use and you can store TV episodes from it and you can download stuff for free, which is cool! Apart from that there are clocks for different coutnries, cities and calendars and slide shows. Well worth them oney and again, Mr.Pickles, who has reviewed all the new apple ipods and given them a bad review, sorry but you're wrong, this is very good and worth every penny!!
Video is an excellent addition September 11, 2007 N. J. Morrison 34 out of 38 found this review helpful
I got rid of my previous nano and replaced it with a 5th gen as I wanted to utilise the video capabilities (and I use these a LOT now - even for putting HD movies on to watch in hotels / in the bedroom etc through scart - which you can do with a few additions costing very little) - however, now the video is in the nano, I'll switch back again, as the smaller size is a huge benefit. PS - Anyone wanting to know how reliable Mr Pickles review is - just click on "see all my reviews" beside his name. He's just left a load of negative reviews for every ipod, and 5* reviews for every Creative. He obviously works for creative and isn't very bright. I've owned both - and the ipod beats the creative in every possible way, every time.
