3 out of 5 stars Great quality sound but not good enough   August 5, 2008
I think these earphones are brilliant in sound quality but the plastic tears easily. ive had mine since X-mas and the plastic is coming away from the actual earphone and at the pin. I think this is a design fault however as the plastic coating is too far away from the wire making it easy for the plastic to tear.

Also these should be avalible in different colours, perhaps the same colour as the iPod they come with as so many people have these it surpresses no individuality what-so-ever.

1 out of 5 stars Fake ipod headphones   May 31, 2008
First of all these are not the official apple ipod headphones! They are actually worse than the real ipod headphones that come initially with the ipod! They are much more uncomfortable than official ipod headphones and have terrible base. They are not worth the money at all.

1 out of 5 stars Painful   May 27, 2008
These earphones are terrible. I've had them for a year and have had enough - they hurt my ears after wearing them for more than half an hour, they fall out constantly and I can't even hear my music fully. Why sell an ipod with ear phones that are so bad you can't appreciate what you're listening to? So you have to go out and buy some really expensive ones from apple of course! Well I won't be replacing these ear phones with ones from apple, what a disappointment.

1 out of 5 stars Bad.   May 22, 2008
These headphones are simply bad. They have bad bass response, if you put them up too loud they start crackling, the wire on them is too short, you're more likely to get mugged because if you wear these you obviously have an expensive iPod in your pocket, and they don't fit right (although that might just be my ears).

Have a look around Amazon, you can get much better earphones for a similar price.

1 out of 5 stars Poor Poor Poor Poor Poor.....oh and did i mention Poor?   May 15, 2008

Well what can i say, i cant believe i have put up with these for almost a year now, got my ipod the back end of last may and i finally decided to throw away the crap headphones.

Points i have noticed over the months are that the left one falls out of my ear....alot, the sound is quiet so i can hear other peoples conversation, it doesnt help when the headphone starts creeping out of my ear either :-P.
This morning i tried my old headphones, from a philips 512mb mp3 player, about 3 years old, problem there was that the jack was to small so i found an extension and was blown away with the sound, i couldnt believe i had put up with these ones for so long when all i had to do was reuse my old ones, I have gone for some Sennheiser Cx300's through recomendation, glad to throw these apple earphones in the bin.

Oh and another point before i go is that the cable has started coming out of the headphones, which knocks the sound off that lil bit more, not good, AVOID AT ALL COSTS and get some decent ones!!!!!
