I URGE PEOPLE NOT TO BUY THIS CHARGER. I connected it to my ipod and plugged it in, first there was a loud buzzing sound which I thought nothing of then the whole thing just blew. Its a waste of money. I've got a standard mains service and if this charger cannot handle that then its useless!

I bought 2 mains chargers, a car charger, a micro to mini USB adaptor and a 3.5mm stereo jack adaptor (last 2 items not from this supplier) but none of them work with my Motorola V9. Whilst all charger LEDs came on showing they are accepting power they did not charge my phone (no phone charging light or flashing battery charge indicator). I asked the supplier for advice but none offered. The charger and headphones that came with the phone all work. Go figure.

After my docking station would not charge my iPod touch 3g, I decided to look for a mains charger and at 1p I thought - "Why not?". This charger really is a great buy! It charges well and very fast! The only problem I have with it is that when the iPod is plugged in, the touch screen is quite messed up and does not correspond to the area you touch. If this small problem was sorted out it would be a 5 star buy! Great for charging overnight though.

Blew up after a weeks use, much better to buy the official apple USB charger adaptor costs more but going to be alot more efficient with the price
