ok, but still struggle to get small enough inner ear connection for my small ear canal

When buying these earphones (having suffered a broken cable with my CX33II's) I was impressed by the price and when they arrived the cable seemed a lot more durable which was a nice touch. However the inline volume control I have found to be a bit awkward as it is too easily changed by simply moving against my clothes etc. Also they have a symmetrical length cable running to both phones personally I prefer to have the asymmetrical cable to allow the cable to draped around my neck (around the back of my head) and thus keep it out of the way while at work etc. However the sound quality is excellent with both deep bass and crisp treble, also they fit well into my ears and are comfortable to wear for prolonged periods, and they do offer above average noise isolation allowing me to listen to music without needing to turn the volume up on my ipod all the way.
All in all a very good product.

Bought to replace same model bought 1 year ago on Amazon, which sounded great until sound was lost in left earpiece. These are even better, suggesting previous set were counterfeit! Better sound, better build, better control with switch. Well worth buying.

Once you nuke your way through the packaging and then the second layer of packaging you'll find a very well made and well equipped set of headphones. The sound quality of these are ace. Let's not kid ourselves, you're not going to get the response of a high end pair of headphones or the bass of a set of skullcrushers but they deliver a good range of solid sound and an excellent bass response, rather than just hearing some bass you can actually feel the phones vibrate in your ears. All you need to do is test out which of the six sets of headphones work best for you and you're on your way. Make sure you unpackage and lay out all the pieces in a flat area as the buds will go a miss if you don't be careful at first.
There is a small spring open wallet to hold all the materials and a cable clip that is a very welcome and thoughtful touch.
All in all i say these are superb headphones for the price.

Received headphones at the beginning of May 2010. Were really impressed with sound quality but unfortunately one earpiece stopped working at end of June 2010. Cable had broken internally just above the jack plug. Trying Sony now.
