Pretty much a good product, it doesn't have a bulky adaptor and that's a great point. Obviously I wasn't expecting a 400W performance, however the sound is clear and the bass response is nice enough. should have been just a bit more loudly, at least according to the weight and the dimensions of the speakers...

The speakers are quite good for the price they were sold. My only issue with them is weird noise when my smart phone is close to them. I'm happy with them.

Let's face it these are not going to fill a concert hall but they are ideal for the purpose I bought them for which was to plug into my laptop and play music at the barby. I doubt that you will turn the tone control from "some bass" towards "tin box mode" but the volume control is useful. They were easily loud enough at only half volume for listening out in our garden but, of course, the volume setting on your computer and the software you are using as a player will affect it too. I haven't tried them in anger in my other intended setting which is as sound support for a powerpoint presentation but I have no doubt that they will be fine. Definitely worth the money.

Got these for the laptop at work. Brilliant. Good price and good sound. I'm no techno-person so maybe others could write a more technical review. However, I couldn't hear the stuff on my laptop, especially when using youtube, and these were just the ticket.
