Unfortunately I ordered the wrong charger - I have an iPod touch. It was not clear which charger I needed. However, I was instructed to return the charger for a refund, which I did over 2 weeks ago and have not heard anything since.

This Charger does exactly what it claims to do and that is charge an iPod Shuffle 1GB 2nd Generation. I have a red one and the standard charger had lost part of the insert. The battery was flat and the Apple Genius store said I would have to buy a replacement Shuffle.
I bought one of these chargers instead and as soon as I connected it up the Shuffle started charging and within a couple of hours was ready to go. I am happily able to listen to all the music I have on the Shuffle. The only snag is that I can't change the music, but this charger doesn't claim to be able to do that. It simply does what it's supposed to do. Five stars.

Bit worried when I read some of the reviews saying that the chargers had over heated but so far mine has worked perfectly.
It won't work on a 3rd generation shuffle but thats not the fault of the product.
