I bought this to charge my new iPod 4th Generation Nano and it does not fit even so it says compatible with all generations.
Save your money and spend a bit more on hopefully a compatible one. In my view this seller should not be selling this item.

apple seem to have purposely altered the input connections on their latest devices tp prevent accessories working with them including their own. roll on the day when their competitors catch them up. this and all other ipod accessories should have their descriptions altered now, on amazon. if you buy or have bought this or any other useless device get a refund, no matter how little you've paid. somebody tell those clever apple people their country is bankrupt and this just won't help.

Bought this to charge latest iPod Nano. When the charger is plugged in there's just a message on the iPod screen saying the charging device is incompatible.
This charger DOES NOT do all generations, hence is incorrectly and misleadingly described.

Both my wife and I have a 4th generation ipod, this item doesn't charge either of them. A waste of money....
