When I wear these, I can't put the iPhone in my pocket because the cable is too short. I have to hold it in my hand.

I bought this pair of headphones to use with my iPhone 3GS expecting it to be an original or at the very least to have all the functions of the equivalent model sold by Apple, and I was sorely disappointed. Although these headphones had most functions (ON/OFF (ANSWER/HANG UP), PLAY/STOP, FF/REW, NEXT/PREVIOUS song.- I know sounds like just about everything...) they don't have a microphone. As a result, every time I want to receive a call (although I can answer it using the controls on the earphones) I have to take the phone (usually out of my bag when I'm out of the house) and hold it close to my mouth. So this really is not a hands-free device. I ended up buying a true original from the Apple Store for twice the amount this cost, that has mic function. Should be fine for use with iPods, although cord's quite short.
