I recieved this product and wrapped in for my daughters birthday (23rd July). On her Birthday she opened in charged it. Most of the controls on the front do not work. It will not turn off or skip foward. Very disappointed I HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF!!!!!

The i-pod arrived very promptly. It is my first i-pod and I find it quite amazing. I'm impressed by the product and equally impressed by Amazon service.

Didn't work - clickwheel kaput. Not an auspicious start. We'll see how the second one goes.
Alos not enamoured of itunes and the amount of personal info it wants. Tempted to go to Sony and use WMP.
UPDATE: replacement has battery issues (about 10 hrs life versus claimed 24). That's going back too.
