Exactly what I wanted July 27, 2010 T. B. Grayson I bought this for my 160Gb Classic and as a replacement for my Belkin strap which snapped after a couple of years of regular (ab)use. I haven't had this new strap for long, but immediately prefer it to the Belkin. The neoprene housing is thick and well padded, so it's comfortable to wear and feels very secure. The ipod is fully enclosed by a velcro-sealed pouch within the strap, so it will not fall out regardless of what angle you have it attached or how rigorously you move about (my ipod has a big dent in it from when it flew out of my previous strap...). The shape fits well on the contours of the arm and I don't find using the controls through the plastic face to be a problem.
The length of the velcro strap may be a potential issue for some users - I only have about half an inch of strap to spare when wearing it, and I don't have especially large arms. Someone with very large arms may find this is too small / tight to strap on comfortably.
good but... July 13, 2010 R. J. Riley (Sheffield, UK) this is good but i recon it is a bit uneccisary product as most gyms these days have holders on the machines where you can quite easily store you ipod i rushed to buy this after i got a classic and found i was better off without it and it made my arm sweat and often slipped down it while running, i guess it boils down to preference and i prefer not to use it anymore
jogging band July 8, 2010 sharpo This arm band does what it says. Fits i-pod classic comfortably and i-phone with a bit of effort. Comfortable and sturdy, but light.
Good Jogging Armband June 29, 2010 David R This is a very good holder for the iPod Classic, for jogging or cycling. I had used another version, but the velcro on the flap wore out, because I needed to open the flap frequently. This version is better, with easier access for the headphone socket and the red/black slide switch.
If you use the Radio accessory, that needs to connect into the base of the iPod, then you can with this version. This is not possible with other versions. and is rarely mentioned in the technical descriptions.
So, a good product, not expensive and it arrived promptly.
good value for money May 9, 2010 wheezy runner (Fife, Scotland) Does exactly what I need it to do. It is a palaver to try and change tracks while running, but I just get it set up with a playlist and it's fine. Feels very secure on my arm and I can actually fit my mobile phone in as well as the iPod. I would recommend it.
