I'm forever losing my USB cables and thinking that I need a couple of spare iPod connector cables I thought I'd look for the cheapest clone cable that would work with the iPod.

Finding this on Amazon for such a low price I didn't hesitate to order thinking that they'd only be cheap knockoffs but good spares and with no P&P so I ordered three.

I was very surprised to take delivery this morning and unlike the reviews of other people, these cables look identical to the original iPod one and packaged in exactly the same way, so if they aren't Apple originals they are a very good facsimile.

For the price you absolutely can't go wrong.

Thought I'd point out my observations of the product.

The cable I received was not an official apple product.
The cable charged every apple device I own (iphone4, ipad, ipod)
The cable is shorter & lighter than offical cable.
The end caps don't fit as tight as official.
Experienced issues using it to "Sync" my iPhone4, slow transfer rate/hanging.

In summary, great low cost cable (90p vs £15) which works when charging your device /w Apple USB Charger. However, I experienced issues using it to sync.

This wire was a waste of money. It did not work,it could not link the ipod to the lap top.
The wire is now in the bin.
